texas instruments just served the look of the century with a 19% glow up

while tech megacaps are having their messy era, txn said "hold my designer coffee" and gained almost $46 in one day. sometimes the classics really do hit different.

okay babes, today's market was giving me serious whiplash because while tech is serving drama left and right, we've got some absolutely iconic gainers that are making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. it's like when your favorite foundation goes on sale but also your backup concealer gets discontinued — mixed emotions, but we're working with it!

the gainers 💅

texas instruments just said "hold my latte" and absolutely demolished expectations with a +19.43% jump to $282.23, gaining $45.92 in a single day. like bestie, that's almost a designer bag's worth of gains per share! she hit a high of $284.12 and honestly, the confidence is immaculate.

nextera energy is serving sustainable queen energy with a +6.94% pop to $96.25, because apparently clean energy is having a moment and we're absolutely here for it. renewable energy stocks are like good skincare — takes time to see results but so worth the investment.

caterpillar rolled up with a solid +3.26% gain to $835.24, proving that heavy machinery can be just as sexy as the latest tech darling. construction vibes are apparently very in right now, who knew?

philip morris served us a +3.20% bump to $169.19, and while we don't endorse the product, we can appreciate a dividend aristocrat doing her thing. some stocks age like fine wine, others like... well, you get it.

coca-cola bubbled up +2.21% to $76.28 because apparently when tech gets messy, everyone runs to the comfort stocks like they're emotional support snacks. warren buffett's taste in stocks remains as consistent as his coca-cola consumption.

megacap tea ☕

apple is having her main character moment with news about smartphone rivals stumbling in china, which honestly feels very "not like other girls" energy. while everyone's fighting over ai, apple's just quietly winning the phone game like the strategic queen she is.

meta is cutting 8,000 jobs (that's 10% of her workforce) to fund her ai spending spree, and honestly it's giving desperate housewife energy but make it silicon valley. like babe, maybe budget better instead of firing everyone? the pivot to ai is real but the execution feels a little chaotic.

microsoft is apparently offering buyouts while meta's doing the dirty work, which is very "i would never but also here's an exit ramp" energy. corporate diplomacy at its finest, truly.

today's market was basically a masterclass in how old school value can still serve looks while tech sorts through its identity crisis. sometimes the best outfit is the classic one hanging in the back of your closet.
